During the summer of 2025,Waseda University Summer School will be open to Chinese students in grades 9-12, offering two courses: Carbon Neutrality and Business & Marketing. Students willstep onto the Waseda University campus and immerse themselves in academic exploration.Through diverse forms such as advanced coursework and academic seminars, they will gain deep insights into the current development trends of the related fields,learn how to apply professional knowledge and innovative thinking for cross-disciplinary applications, and explore future directions of development.

On-site Exploration at the Prestigious University

Waseda University Summer School offers two popular courses: Carbon Neutrality and Business & Marketing. Students will study on the Waseda campus, where they will follow professional instructors to study academic courses and analyze industry cases, deeply explore cutting-edge development trends of the related industry, learn how to flexibly apply their knowledge to practical applications and enterprise innovation, and enhance their academic competitiveness.

Experienced Teaching Faculty

The courses will be lectured by professional instructors from Waseda University, adopting a teaching mode that deeply integrates theory with practice. Throughout the teaching process, a problem-oriented approach is employed, with industry experts providing meticulous guidance to lead students in exploring professional knowledge and comprehensively enhancing their abilities to apply knowledge and innovative thinking.

Certificates and Recommendation Letter

Students who complete all program contents and the final presentation will receive an official certificate. The best team and outstanding students in the final presentation will receive the recommendation letters (typically awarded to 30% of participants).

Corporate Visit

Students will have the opportunity to visit leading enterprises in relevant academic fields. They can gain insights into their development and core competitiveness. Furthermore, they will have face-to-face interactions with industry experts to obtain the latest industry trends, broaden their professional horizons, and enhance their professional perspectives. Additionally, students will take an in-depth tour of Tokyo's landmark buildings, immersing themselves in the city's unique charm and cultural heritage.

The course will focus on frontier issues such as global climate challenges, environmental technologies, and renewable energy, guiding students in analyzing energy and environmental issues through environmental, economic, and social lenses while enhancing problem-solving skills through case studies, and empowering them to translate environmental science theories into business applications, strengthening their competitiveness within global sustainability.
